This game is the most addictive game in the world. Fact. It's kept me from doing an hour of history past paper questions.

My birthday and Madina Lake

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
These past few days have been brill. On Friday it was my birthday. I had a maths test and french test and my new 80G iPod didn't arrive on time, but t'was all goooood. I got some curling tongs, a couple of ps2 games amongst other things. Then my iPod arrived on Saturday and I think i fell in love with it, seriously, it's THAT good.
Now onto the Madina Lake gig (I'll just copy and past from what I wrote on my bebo page)

This was probably one of the best nights of my life, as long as I forget about feeling ill beforehand. God damn McDonalds, that's the last time I eat there lol.
So I picked Millie up and on the way up to Glasgow we watched Anchorman which was so funny!
"I ate a red candle"
"I once ate a lava lamp...it wasn't lava..."
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE YELLING AT. LOUD NOISES."
"'Brick, where did you get a hand grenade?'
'...I don't know."
"Where did you get those clothes? At a toilet store?!"
"Years later a doctor will tell me that I have an IQ of 48 and am what some people would call mentally retarted."
Lol, I loved Brick.
So anyhoo, we got a McDonalds on the way, and I had a really hard time trying to hear what the greasy spotty chav working there was trying to tell me, so Millie had to translate for me. Oh yeah, and mum made a fool of herself when I was talkig about the Muse gig and said "The queues were absolutely massive" and mum went "Isn't that what a Muse song is called? Absolutely massive?" Oh, how Millie laughed.
So we arrived in Glasgow and went to Alex's flat, then walked to the gig. The queue was really big but it went down quite quickly, I bought a t-shirt then we walked in just as My American Heart were playing. We got really close to the front and the band were really good, especially "The Shake" which I started jumping like an idiot to. Then Halifax came on, they were awesome too, but the crowd started getting more squished and a bit rougher. It continued to get rougher and more squished when Envy on the Coast came on, who were fab.
Then there was a bit of a break before Madina Lake came on. By this time me and Millie were so squished, and the crowd got really rough, but we were determined to stay at the front for Madina Lake. The crowd went absolutely mental when the came on, and the started with "Adalia" then went onto "One Last Kiss". At one point Nathan (lead singer) jumped in the crowd and I TOUCHED HIS HAIR. GET IN. *cough* Excuse me.
About half way through their set, this guy fainted in the middle of the audience and it had to be stopped for about half an hour, which sucked, but we managed to escape and went to see Alex and Dave, who were trying to look all cool and unimpressed at the bar. The key word here is TRYING lol. We were just standing there when we saw the lead singer from Envy on the Coast go past us and down the stairs, so we chased him to the merch stall and got our photo taken with him, he was really nice! We went back upstairs and waited more, then the guitarist from Halifax walked past and we got a photo of us right at the stairs, he wasn't so nice =[ Eventually the guy was taken away and Madina Lake came back on, but we stayed at the back 'cause the view was just as good.
They finished with Pandora, then me and Millie went down to the Merch stall to try and get more photo's. It was there we saw the lead singer of Halifax and got a photo taken with him, and he was seriously hot, then he hugged us! YAY!
Right after that we got our photo taken with the guitarist from My American Heart who was super nice, and he well rubbed my back as I walked off rofl.
We didn't get to meet Madina Lake, but I didn't really mind.
Now onto photos....

Me and Mille with the lead singer of Envy on the Coast. Although he doesn't look it in this photo, he was gorgeous.

Us with the guitarist from My American Heart. Notice he's leaning towards me!

Me with the singer from Halifax. One word: HOT.

Mathew Leone and Nathan Leone in the backround, they're in Madina Lake. Once again, HOT.

Seriously, it's ridiculous.

For Monday, I have a French writing test. It's about 200 words and I have to know it off by heart.
For Tuesday, I have a Past Paper to do for History, and I have to learn my lines, 40 of them, for the school show.
For Wednesday, I have a French speaking test. I have to have a conversation with my teacher about my daily routine. Gay.
And for Friday, I have a big maths test, in the hall, with invigilators and everything, Oh yeah, did I mention it's my birthday on Friday as well? Nooooo.

I've also got to do an investigation on capital punishment for R.E since I'm dropping it to get an extra chemistry lesson with my teacher 'cause I suck at it. Oh yeah, I've got a chemistry test to revise for as well. Shite.
Aaaand, I have to write out my good copy of my reflective essay for English, which is on the battlefields trip I went on. That's 1,400 words.

Yet I still find time to go on the computer. Amazing, isn't it?

Hockey

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
It was the first hockey match of the season today, Kelso vs. Gala. I've only just got into the senior team so expected it to be a rough match, but it was alright actually. The only thing was my stupid effin' hockey boots don't fit me anymore, which means i have 3 blisters on each foot, and they're killing me, especially the ones at my heel 'cause they've just popped. A nice image for you there
The score was 1-1, but it was quite frustrating because we should have won about 4-0, but our shots only just went out. A couple actually hit the post square on, and I hit what should have been a great goal (if I do say so myself) except we had to play on the football pitch and the ground is quite rough, so it went over a very rough patch and went in the air, just missing the goal! Gutted! Anyhoo, for my first match for the seniors it went quite well.

Here comes a rant.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend

I'm not the happiest person at this moment in time, for several reasons:

I have to go back to school tomorrow. 7 weeks go way to fast. I have effin' biology first thing, the effin' chemistry last thing. I should point these are both double periods = 80 mins each. Help.

As a last day treat, mum made me pancakes for tea. But I managed to fall asleep while listening to Muse full blast on my bed. So I slept right through tea, and got no pancakes =[

I have to see my ex-best friend tommorow. There are many reasons for us not speaking anymore, one of which is that she seems determined to copy me. I like to think I have my own style, and my taste in music is punk/rock music. When I met her, she was into bands like Busted and McFly. As soon as we became friends she started liking exactly the same music as me. You could say it's just 'cause I introduced her to this music, and she really does like it, but there are bands which are quite different from what you'd expect me to like, like Beach Boys, The Monkees and James Blunt, and then she decided she liked them too. Then she started dressing like me. I love the fact my style is different from everyones else, and when she did that I was furious. She got the same converses, 2 of the same tshirts, one of which is a Beatles tshirt. I've always loved The Beatles, and so got a Beatles tshirt. The Beatles are deemed "cool", so she got the same tshirt. Jeezo.
We've not been speaking for a good few months now, and I've just looked on Bebo to find she's got exactly the same haircut as me. It's getting ridiculous, I'm so effin' mad.

Rant over.

It's that time of year again, the Edinburgh Fringe. The only time when foreigners come to Scotland, going around like they own the place and just being generally annoying. Jeezo. But this year I was looking forward to it, for one simple reason: Russell Howard. That's right, he's in Edinburgh performing this year. I can here Kelly squeeing now! Notice that I was looking forward to it, because when I looked online for tickets, I noticed it's over 18's only! Gutted!
So instead I'm going to see Chris Cox, a magician, who just happens to be Colin Murray's flatmate (lucky biatch) and work on the Chris Moyles Show (lucky biatch, again).

Also, I'm in love with David Thewlis now. I shouldn't be, but I can't help it.

I urge everyone to watch Divorcing Jack, a film he was in a few years ago. He's effin' hot in it, and it's hilarious too.

Alton Towers

Add to Memories Tell a Friend

T'was fab! Me, my friends Paul and Tash, and my parents travelled down on Friday. It was a long journey, about 6 hours, but worth it.
When we arrived at the hotel, we had tea at Frankie and Benny's and went to the cinema to see The Simpsons, amezzin'. We (referring to me, Paul and Tash) were the only ones laughing at the bit where the woman points Homer in the right direction with her boobs. LOL.
We got back to the hotel and explored it a bit and found an old rickety staircase which led to an old room where clean sheets and, randomly, Christmas decorations were kept. I, being the daredevil I am, stole a couple of baubles and they are now sitting in my bedroom.
Sooo, onto the themepark. We were a bit nervous to go on the bigger rides, but eventually plucked up the courage and found them great fun. We started with Air, which was so cool! It was really fast and smooth, and really felt like I was flying. We then went on Nemesis, which was rougher than Air but still great. We went on other rides which I can't be bothered to talk about, but I want to mention Rita, which after some pleading from my friends, I went on. This was no ordinary rolercoaster, it was effin' faster than the other ones! You go from 0-200mph in 2 seconds, which is 4.7 g force. I should point out that when astronauts are training in those things...I dunno how to describe them, but James May went on one in those programmes he did, you go at 5g, so you can see how powerful that is! I went on nearly all the scary rides, apart from Oblivion, I didn't want to die!
Onto the pics...

Paul, me, Tash at Frankie and Benny's

Us on Nemesis.

Well tomorrow I'm off to Alton Towers with Paul and Tash for 2 days which shall be amezzin'. I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to going on big rollercoasters, but I'm probably more likely to go on them when I'm with my friends.

Not too sure about Oblivion though!

I've also found Mr Fit Guys bebo page. Yeah, really not that fit. He just looks hot from afar. My bad!

Summer has arrived!

Add to Memories Tell a Friend

Finally, after 3 weeks of utter crap weather, Summer is finally here! It was absolutely roasting today, so I met up with some friends and we just lay in the sun listening to Raio 1. Bliss.
In other news, I want to try and get speaking to Mr Fit Guy (as I now call him) who's moved into one of the cottages on the same farm as me. However, I hace no idea how to. I think I saw him in his garden when I happened to be "taking my dog for a walk". He'll be getting a lot of exercise from now on ;). Anyhoo, it may not have been him, but his brother, who is a couple of years younger than me, as I was too far away to see. Also, I don't even know his name, so I can't even search it on Bebo or myspace (I know, stalker) But at least it would be easier 'cause I could get talking to him online. Ach, what to do...

Border Union Show

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Yesterday was the Border Union Show, which was great fun. There was lots of boring stuff like sheep judging and stuff, but I met up with friends and we got lots of freebies and went on the rides etc. The only crap bit was when we were forced to look after a stall for an hour and a half which had a lucky dip and guess the number of beans in the jar, the money going towards Kelso High School's hockey team (which I'm in)

Some pics...

That rooster was amazing, it had an afro! My face says it all: wow!

My friend with a friendly goat.

In other news, a very hot guy has moved into one of the cottages on my farm. Actual phwoar!
